Major in Spanish                                                                 36 credits

The Department of Modern Languages offers a major in Spanish (language and literature) for students who have completed a year of study in an Hispanic country. Students completing the major requirement abroad will have to complete their course work at the 300 or 400 level, or equivalent, excluding courses already completed at St FX. Students who wish to apply for the major degree must seek permission from the department chair and submit relevant course descriptions of work to be done abroad to the dean’s office for approval.
